The virtual city tour of Magdeburg is a creative WEB environment that makes it possible to virtually visit over 1,000 interconnected locations of our hometown and access information in a proverbial new dimension. Free of charge, informative, barrier-free, interactive, regardless of location or time of day and even in bad weather. Via PC, tablet, smartphone or with VR glasses.

The virtual tour is developed by Magdeburger with the vision of highlighting the special places, hotspots, sights and cultural treasures of the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt in a cross-media manner and of digitally preserving them as a virtual image of our times.

The Virtual Tour Magdeburg is a virtual representation of the city of Otto. Thousands of unique places, attractions and sights from the Magdeburg urban area have been captured and integrated into what is probably the largest virtual tour in the world.

Unlike conventional map services from Google or Bing, the focus of the development of magdeburg360.de is less on mapping every possible street, but rather on highlighting selected locations in Magdeburg and tourist highlights of the Ottostadt. In the virtual city tour, visitors can therefore find unique places in the Magdeburg urban area, e.g. on the banks of the Elbe, in the cathedral, in stadiums, parks and gardens, lost places or at a height of 100 meters.
